Alcohol Sale or Return

Hi,

I've got to organize the alcohol for about 50-60 people (beer, wine, spirits). My preferred solution would be to get far too much, and then return any unopened bottles, cases etc.

Does anyone offer this is HH ? and if they do, any experiences ?

but halex not answering the phones for last 3 days, the shop has a padlock on it, and next door they tell me that people came in yesterday and took the computers away.

Is there anywhere else ?

Maybe this deserves a new thread, but I just heard yesterday that the Halex owner (Alex ??) has disappeared. The stock is being confiscated and held to pay debts and the place is apparently out of business.

If anyone has any other information, I have friends who are bar/restaurant owners with accounts at Halex that would like to know more...
