Try the shops in front of the Hilton...or at Jim Thompson if the budget permits...

try the shops leading down to the beach past the Sofitel or as already suggested the road leading up to the Hilton.

The ones in Jim Thompson are beautiful but are a tad on the expensive side :D :D

I have bought loads of sarongs (im an addict) from a lady who has a stall near the wet market. There are so many stalls there I coudn't direct you to the exact one. Just take a walk around the market and i'm sure you will see them eventually... :D
