Has it begun already? The post from 'Frost' yesterday concerning immigration indicated all closed from today to Jan. 4. Here in my area it seems like a ghost town, not a Thai worker in sight doing any grounds maintenance or house new construction. Pete :cheers:

I've just come through the centre of town here and there are large numbers of Thai tourists about, more than for a normal weekend, so I thing many are probably here for the whole week.

Yes, I guess it's in full swing. We found police roadblocks everywhere both in the Pattaya and Rayong City directions. Many on back roads that are known shortcuts, and in daylight hours. They weren't there this past week when we went to some Christmas parties. Pete :cheers:
