hiiiiiiiiiiiii

Post by bladerunner2120 »

Like to say hiiiiii to the expat crowed in Hua Hin i will come to have a look at your town end of the year as my partner tells me it fits my criteria of where i would like to live once i make a permanent move to Thailand.
Any Aussies there? if so at a guess how many? I assume the bulk of expats would be British since there lovely government is so kind at providing them (retires) with a pension to live overseas in a tropical paradise..... unfortunately its not the same in the colonies...
I have been reading the site for a while now and taken in some worthwhile information so thanks for all of that.

ps....if i was to move there any way of finding out the flood prone areas? it would be exciting to have water up to your door step ( stuff like that doesnt happen in Melbourne...nothing much like that happens in Melbourne)....but it might actually come inside then i might not be so excited.....

Welcome

Yes there OZ bods around. Some Brits, Canadians,Yanks, Irish, Scottish but mostly Scandinavian and German here.

Leave it to the rest to fill you in about flooding. Not heard of it happening in HH except at Songkran and when we get a real downpour, but it is confined mainly to the roads that tempoarily become streams to fill the gulf. dont know about the surrounding regions though.

It’s none of my business what people say and think of me. I am what I am and do what I do. I expect nothing and accept everything. It makes life so much easier.

Hi bladerunner2120 and welcome to the board...

Many expats retire to your country for the paradise experience so don't expect too much of a jump...
