The photo was courtesy of HHF - being from up North too I can't load pics yet drdod! No probs duck. Agreed there can be quite a wait when the place is busy - but the boss will always give an idea of waiting times when needed and yes, the pudds are good too. Not that I've often had room for them!
The original Jailhouse was on 'no name' soi - between Selakem and Bintabahn BTW, and had one of the biggest music collections around those parts 9/10 years ago. Next time you're waiting take a look upstairs and there should still be a collection of old vinyl covers on the wall up there.

I had lunch at the Jailhouse today but was not overly impressed with the food. That said I did not choose the loin but had a hash, which is a typically Scandinavian dish. This is a Danish restaurant.
The hash can be made with or without cream but here they served something very different. The taste was not bad but as I said nothing to tell mum about.
The service was quite o.k. though and the chairs comfortable, but out of maximum five I can only give them a rating of two.
I will give them a second chance another time and then I will chose the recommended pork loin.
