Jimmys Bar

Post by Jo »

HI,

I used to use this bar quite a lot in the early days when the food was great and the staff very good. Then it seemed to go to pot and when I went past the other day it seemed to be being dismantled. Any ideas what has happened there ?

Soi 102, but it's closed down now. Wasn't busy enough and the owners have a couple of bars in town now. Fairly sure they don't do food in them though.

yes i think your right there mars, i remember reading an article in some medical journal a few years back which basically said that due to the high humidity in Thailand it was almost impossible for haggis to reproduce.

jimmys doing alright though, so maybe he has them living in a controlled climate environment.

Yeah, it's too bad. I ate there a couple of times and the food and service were good, but in a location like that you have to have a loyal ex-pat following or you won't make it... to out of the way for tourists.

Bobby's bar on that same Soi (102) is a good little place for both food and drink.
My brain is like an Internet browser; 12 tabs are open and 5 of them are not responding, there's a GIF playing in an endless loop,... and where is that annoying music coming from?

we dont have that problem in mid wales, a Scottish couple moved here from Glasgow and brought a few pet ones with them and now they seem to pop up everywhere, one even tried to breed with next doors cat.
