walker for disabled? (handicap itoms)

Post by Apple »

We need to find a shop that sells handicap items like walkers, walkingtables, wheelchairs and such. So we only have to bring our sons wheelchair when we go to Hua Hin this summer.
Anyone who knows about shops like that near Hua-Hin/Bangkok?

thanx

In Hua hin, at the mid-way point up the main night market,on the crossroads where the green songtaews park is a pharmacy on the corner.
If this place is still open THEY sell hardware for disabled people.
When I needed stuff from there- some days open, some days not.
Good luck and safe trip over..U.S.

I was at the day market earlier this morning and noticed that the shop you mentioned seems to have closed. It looks like an estate agency now.

Shame that Lomu - HH needs another Property Shop like it needs a hole in the head. Surely there's a business opportunity there for a small - very central - disability aides rental place? Preferably farang for farang, and attached as a sideline to a well known and established business which can be easily found - and accessed - by tourists?

There is a pharmacy next to the bakery on the ground floor of market village that sells disabled equipment.

I've only been to MV once but don't recall seeing any disabled access at the main entrance... hope I'm wrong?

Yes you are wrong. Market village doors and entrances all are suitable for shopping carts/wheelchairs.
