Hua Hin Google Earth or Similar?

Post by Green Nomad »

Does anyone know of a website or facility online that can give up to date satelite images/maps of the Hua Hin area?
If using Wikimapia or Google Earth, the images are a least 2 years old, I know that as my house is not on the satelite image, unless its been demolished since I was last there.

I know we dont have the Google maps facility in Thailand, the one where you can look around at street level 360 degrees, but that would be good, could keep an eye on the property. 8)

No Streetview from Google in Hua Hin yet, but there is something called MapJack that maybe of use.

This is the best we have from Google: www.maphuahin.com

I first posted it up on here October 2008 so it's older than that.

You can see on the map how far it goes. :?

Thanks Buksida.

Have just tried the Mapjack site, was the sort of thing I was looking for, but as my place near Hua Hin is in the sticks its not shown.

Though when I opened the site I was pleasantly taken to Patong in Phuket and able to check out some of the old haunts/bars me and my wife used to frequent. Pity the views are not taken in the evening time, might see some old friends in the pics.

Good tool for looking around the country.
