Well I started thinking about what to do. They are almost fed up of beaching it everyday though it is good for them to chill out (in this weather???) and forget their pressures in the UK.
Well I gave them a treat on the Siam Pearl. Cruising down to Dolphin bay for a monkey feeding session, swimming, snorkeling and fishing. (Sorry Barry. Will use you next time.)
Anyway it was a great day. Collected from wherever and a gentle cruise on a converted Thai trawler. What really impressed me was the friendliness of the passengers, crew and Kieth (boss). There were Swedes, Danish, Brits and Thais on-board and by the end of the day email addresses were being exchanged and we got together with a Brit family (who are stranded here until Thursday at the earliest) for sundowners at their rented villa.
Good day trip, excellent lunch and pleasant company.
I'm posting this not as an advertisement and I have no connection with the Company, but as advice to those of us who live here and have visitors who suddenly run out of things to do to shop around. The trip caters for old and young so elderly parents would enjoy it
Guess I am a seafarer as the best I've had was a rented converted Thai trawler off Pi Pi which cruised the islands under sail. Not cheap though but I wasn't paying
