It seems anyone using large amounts these notes are considered to be criminals.

I hope the never do this with the £50 note, or I'm buggered.
I've lost my mind and I am making no effort to find it.

I wish they would come up with a 2,000 and/or 3,000 Baht note here. It's time. Pete

You are obviously being paid too much KD!!
Agree about a larger denomination Bht note. Would have big probs trying to break it down at the bars though.

The wife gives me my pocket money in £50's

It seems that approx 85% of Euro 500 notes in circulation, go into and out of the Euro zone via Spain, (no surprise there then) where there is a large contingent of Russian and other crooks.

Many police forces have been calling for this denomination note to be withdrawn for several years now. Finally, someone has taken notice and withdrawn them.

So, back to the dollar for the drugs guys now I suppose.

Yes Pete, maybe even a 5k or 10k note in ATM's for those who like to withdraw large amounts from a bank.

Yes I do sympathise with the police forces - they are far more obvious trying to get change from a roll of new 500E notes ha, ha. They'll be wanting to ban brown paper bags too!
