I know I haven't posted much, and I haven't been a member that long, but if you're interested, I'd like you to invite to an online Social strategy game (link at the bottom). It's called eRepublik, and it's a political, economic, and military text based simulator. Honestly there's seemingly not much to the game at first and it's very boring, and if you don't really care you only have to spend about 5 minutes on playing. Likewise, you can spend almost all day on it, interacting with other citizens from around the world. It's one of those you get what you put into it games.
Anyway, eThailand has had a long history of being Politically taken over through the use of multis (cheating), the Indonesians are constantly mucked about, they have stolen our gold, our money, they've attacked us on a number of occasions, routinely disrupt ur plans, and have sabotaged our taxes on numerous occasions, so have the Romanians, Iranians among others. Again this month the Indonesians have gained control of 3 of our 6 parties, and have created about 100 new citizen accounts in the last month. So unsurprisingly, we need help, I've been wanting to do this for a while, but as I'm not from here, and all the upheaval recently, I've been a bit trepidatious, but the country needs help, otherwise we'll lose control of our government, yet again.
If you do decide to join, here's a quick rundown. If you make an account, make it in the Central Thailand region, its the only region we have with a q5 hospital. Southern Thailand is occupied by the eUS. Southern Thailand is a highly strategic region in the game, and the Indonesians have always been interested in it, and was part of the reason for them always controlling our government. We tried to have Malaysia hold it, but they weren't strong enough, and the only option we had left to us was a US physical buffer between us and the Indonesians until we can properly defend ourselves.
Upon signing up when you get a job, be sure to get a job in the manufacturing or construction sectors. We don't have very good land resources atm, and we don't have a very strong market for them. Be sure it's a quality 1 (or 1 star) company, as being new you can't afford to keep up with the wellness drain from a higher quality company.

Finally be careful, the batch of Indos we have seem to enjoy being propagandists, and purposefully give out bad advice to trip up real new players. It would be nice if you'd stop by and say hi, and we can explain the game further and help you out a bit more. Fair warning 2: We're mostly an English speaking bunch. We do have a handful of RL thais that play, but most of them are preoccupied.
