Does anyone know where I can get a large (6000 L) plastic water tank mended?
Thanks.

My unhelpful experience is that you'll save a lot of time and effort by cutting your losses and getting a new one. Others may be more helpful...

Re: mending water tank
It does depend on the type and location of the damage. Repair can be achieved using fibreglass matting.
However, I would tend to agree with Jim - a new one might be a better option

6,000 liters is huge as compared to your normal household water tanks here, either above or in ground. I think previous comments may be correct. The weight/pressure from 6,000 liters of water would challenge any repair, no matter how good it was. Pete

Thanks for the replies and suggestions.
The tank is actually 2000 L - my mistake.
It seems then that the question is how to best dispose (in an environmentally friendly way if possible) of a large plastic tank....

Common sense prevails.
There are many recycle places around. Just put it out in the street and watch it disappear - poof!!!! Otherwise the garbos might take it if you ask - they too recycle.
