I am sure we will start a SERIOUS World Cup Thread soon, once all the domestic and European league and cup games have ended.

Look for a pool we can play Pharvey. I have 3-4 times now and when I thought I had one, came to find they didn't have one.
I can't explain the absence unless it's tied to some kind of FIFA advertising restrictions. Pete

Is the USA participating, Pete?

If I remember correctly, I think it's the first match in the group.lomuamart wrote:Is the USA participating, Pete?

Pete - There's a mass of wendyball leagues on the following link including the 2010 World Cup.

The only problem is you can't set up a HHAD league - Superbru/Sportguru say they will be setting up a league nearer the date, so I think that's the one to go for.

Yes, the Green Army are providing their centre forward, so I bet Fabio's shaking in his boots already.lomuamart wrote:Is the USA participating, Pete?

Well, seeing as Wales opted out this time around, I'm not entirely sure which country should benefit from my support......... looks like a toss-up between USA, Algeria and Slovenia at least initially.

Spain by a million miles for me.
Pepe Reina doesn't even get in the side, Fabregas is on the bench, Torres plays second fiddle to Villa (mainly because of how they use them).
They've simply got the best squad I've ever seen.
For a dark horse, Argies have got some bloody good players.
Perhaps a mod could set up a poll and put the USA in for a laugh.
