What is it with changing the design of the ball seemingly every World Cup...... how much can they actually change the design (within the rules)? :?

Seems like a lot of the players are up in arms with the latest effort - justified, or getting the excuses in early? :duck:

Edit: Forgot the bl**dy link

Nelson Mandela withdrew from attending the opening ceremonies on account of the death of his great grand daughter. My goodness, how many of those who have lived experienced something like that. :( God knows this man has had more than his fair share or pain and hardship during his life.

I hope it gives the South African team motivation and conviction. Good luck to them. Pete

Last Nights opener I could only find on Thai channel 3 therefor no english commentary

Any ideas are true not covering the WC?

Hate channel 3 coverage as the commentary is from the thai studio and you get no atmosphere broadcast from the ground.

oh for John motson and bbc coverage helllllllllllllpppppppppppppppppppppp

Yeah - its damn annoying, called them up and they said they have it on HD channel 111 - but you have to buy another black box at 2,000 baht to get it.

:cuss:

So its Thai channel 3 for True Visions subscribers, I'm in a good mind to cancel it.

Great opening game btw.

Right On Randy

the first Game Mexico vs. south Africa was kinda exciting but the France vs Uruguay was downright Boring.

I'm glad to witness all the Games from Germany on my visit back to meet the Editor of my small magazine for which I write occasionally.

Why does Thai TV don't send any commentators and production teams to any important sporting events? Just like Buksida said commentating out of a Studyo in Bangers doesn't get the real feeling for the Atmosphere as if you sit in a commentator box where you are right @ the Game sucking it all up the vibranT atmosphere and the deafening sounds of the Vuvuzelas which in hUndreds or thousands in a stia can reach up to 115 decibel!

Thanks for clarifying those deafening sounds are from 'vuvuzelas' Understudy! An awful and constant cacophany of unwanted noise which makes the whole thing even more unbearable than it usually is. At first I thought it was interference in the transmission. Even if I wanted to watch matches for a month I couldn't stand it - so if Him Indoors watches any from now on it's strictly 'sound off' I'm afraid. :cuss:

World Cup Match update!

South Korea leading leading 2 : 0 against Greece in an exciting match Now the Helenic ones have to really step up to turn this Match around.

This shows the current form of SK is on the upward curve. They even beat their arch rival Japan in Japan 2 nill in a pre WC match!!!
