Where can I ask?

Post by Orange »

Hello,
I am on a steep learning curve with some of the forum rules and technical things and I have a few questions about them. I was asking on the forum upgrade thread but it seems that is not the right place, so can someone tell me where I can ask about that sort of stuff and not get reprimanded or made fun of?

Orange,

Technical problems can be resolved within the Digital Realm. If your question does not fit easily into another thread, please start a new one - don't just piggy-back onto an existing thread.

Forum rules is a bit more difficult. You have 2 choices really:

- Ask in what you think is the most appropriate Forum. If I or one of the other Mods think you have got it wrong, we'll move it to where we think it sits best.

- Alternatively, please feel free to PM one of the Mods or Admin with your questions. This will have the advantage of keeping it off the main forum, and avoid any possible flack/interference from other members.
Championship Plymouth Argyle 1 - 2 Leeds Utd

Points 46; Position 23 RELEGATED

Thread locked, please PM one of the staff with specific questions.

As stated before please read this, it covers most of your questions.

Any technical questions about the forum software are to be made here: http://www.huahinafterdark.com/forum/vi ... 14&t=14462

Or preferably PM one of the moderators, arguing about the answers or questioning them will win you no favours.

If you genuinely have issues with this forum, its software, or members we are here to assist you. However we have had a number of spurious members in the past and have several competitors (yes, this is a business, we sell advertising) so we are often somewhat defensive when we see certain traits (such as the repetitive mentioning of one of our competitors and little interest in other topics) in the posts of new members.

If you have any issues with this response we will gladly offer more explanation via private message or email.
