DHL or Fedex. Alternatively, Royal mail recorded delivery. If all else fails, maybe you could get someone to bring it over for you unless it's of a very sensitive nature.

What's the cost of say a DHL letter delivery and what delivery time can you expect?

I've used DHL and the 'All singing all dancing' recorded delivery service from the Royal Mail, both work fine, no problems, have had credit cards/licenses and other important documents sent like this.

These don't really get messed around with because you have to sign at the other end and there's accountability for the workers if it goes astray or intended reciever doesn't get it or complains about it's condition/fullness of original integrity etc. Think with DHL you can even track it enroute to where it currently is.

Plus there is some sort of insurance on it too I reckon (with DHL or Fed Ex), not sure, the sender has to estimate value of contents which the service guarantees/insures etc.

Of course, all of this is marginally more expensive.

A couple of weeks ago I sent 5 A4 pages of documents to Shrewsbury from Hua Hin by EMS.
(I guess EMS is the Thai equivalent of the UK recorded Royal Mail system).
The cost was 970 Baht, not exactly cheap but fast and reliable.
Took only 3 days before the documents arrived safely in UK.
I know this is the opposite direction of what the OP asked for, but both Mail systems works as expected and promised.

I had a stupid experience with TNT. I had to send company papers to my accountant (UK to HH) and used TNT's express service. Well, the accountant was shut when they tried to deliver, so guess what TNT did? Yep, being Thai they pretended that it all wasn't happening at all. It took them a month (yes a month!!) to actually do it, by which time I get fined for filing the papers late. Fan-bloody-tastic. So I don't recommend TNT!!!!!!

Can't fault EMS from Thailand to UK. You can track it too and it is fast

Had problems with TNT receiving from the UK

TNT in Hua Hin could not find Condo Chain despite me handing reception my mobile to guide them in

I think TNT HQ in HH is next door to Tonys place (The Shed) on Naebkehardt. If it really is important guess you could ask to be informed to collect from them and have a nice breakfast at the Shed whilst you are waiting

They are good at phoning you if the dispatcher puts your number on.

Guess you can track TNT and once you know it has arrived in HH park yourself on their doorstep. You will need ID to prove ownership of the parcel or letter.
