Thai Location Quiz

A small quiz to see how up to speed everyone is concerning Thai landmarks. Located on the east bank of the Chao Praya river between Bangkok and Ayudhaya. If you're stumped ask your Thai partner, she should know. Answer in the morning if no one gets it. Pete :cheers:

OK, morning has arrived and no one is close. It's named Kantana House and is owned and built by Thai TV Channel 7. It's the mansion where they film all of their TV drama soap operas. That's why I mentioned to ask your Thai partner given the amount of time many use watching those things. :shock: :D

My understanding is that each room is fitted like a movie studio with lighting, camera tracks, sound systems etc., so they can just go from room to room as filming progresses, changing and moving furniture for different shows. The exterior is used extensively as well but you seldom see shots of the entire building, just portions of balconies, front door, driveway etc.

I thought I recognised it, but didn't want to sound stupid. I remembered it from the model in Mini Siam (now who's sounding stupid?)
