Not sure how many pool leagues there are but assuming there is only one, it might be of interest to note that the new 'Play' Sports bar on Soi 8 got off to a flyer with a 17 to 1 demolition of their first week's opposition. The games were closer than the scoreline suggested. The team wear their own 'Play' Bar shirts and for that reason alone deserve a thrashing.

The table upstairs is brand new and true while the aircon is a blessing in this heat. You can watch the games on TV screens downstairs if the stairs are too much for you. I've been dragged out of my hermit-like lifestyle by Peter the owner and merited a permanent place in the team since everyone else is plastered by the last few frames. Not being a drinker, I'm the only one who can still see the table.

Hi, I've got a snooker and a pool cue that I've been toting around the world with me for years but am ashamed to say they haven't left their cases for most of that time. Can anyone give an update on what is currently going on?

I followed the links to the pool leagues but it's all scores and their contact form is really off-putting. Does anyone confirm what's going on and where or wold someone PM me someone who I could call to get involved? Thanks!

your welcome to join Jws for pool league. There is a game every Monday, people just turn up and play a round robin tournament, winner buys the beers!
