Well, congrats to Redzonerocker on the fabled ''yellow Cap'' this week!!

IMHO a far better game than last week - yes, scrappy and a fair few errors, but very enjoyable. Whilst NZ were without doubt worthy winners, the Bokke yet again threw it away with a yellow card (10 points shipped whilst 1 man down) - bizarrely the replacement for Bakkies Botha (who was banned after throwing a headbutt in last week's game), Danie Rossouw was the guilty party!! NZ themselves were very lucky to escape a yellow card, which could have made a big difference.......

15 on 15, the scoreline would have read 21 v 17, but at the end of the day NZ were far superior at the breakdown and overall looked far more dangerous in attack - ultimately deserving of the win.

NZ now with 2 bonus (4-try) points, look to be taking a commanding position in the tournament. SA travel to Australia next week where they'll be playing the Green & Golds in Brisbane..... not a happy hunting ground for SA in previous years.

Next week's prediction is a difficult one.......

Almost upon us again..... I've had to make picks early as I'm en-route to the UK - not an excuse, I have enough information and rope to well and truly hang myself!!

Anyway..... Currie Cup - 50% have picked and we're all pretty much in agreement thus far as to the winners, it's just going to be the margin and bonus points I guess..... for the other 50% - make your picks!!

Tri-Nations.... Australia vs South Africa

Now this is a difficult one.... SA already 2 losses, low moral, bitching about the refereeing, lost players both to suspension and injury, not won in Brisbane since 1971 (I believe). Pienaar selected at scrum half?

Australia, rested, fired up from a loss to the poms, BUT a couple of changes - the main one being O'Connor on the wing and a fairly weak looking front row...... could cause big problems.

Pienaar and O'Connor changes have made my mind up.......

It's certainly a thumping, but looking at the table, the Leopards have shipped an average of touching 48 points a game (over 14 matches)!! Even the Sharks with the best defense (statistically) have shipped over 20 points per game on average...... certainly some ''open rugby''!!
