Thanks pharvey - that's probably good enough for me (although I can't find any UK importers). It looks as though we're bringing a lot with us when we return to the UK.

I suppose it must be legal BB, the wife bought this in Bournemouth Thai shop. You can just make out the £ price sticker.

To me it smells disgusting and is a waste of good vodka but hey ho, it keeps her happy.

At least she only drinks a measured amount. :wink:

I can remember the original formula of this stuff from back in 1972 when my son was born here. No powder used then but a large jar stuffed with all kinds of herbs with some clear Thai whiskey and water added. Had a strange medicinal smell/taste, a bit like licorice. The wife and her mother swore by it for after birth purposes. I recall a few shot glasses and you felt quite good. :D Pete :cheers:
