Re: internet access problem
If you know how to get into the router, there may be a setting under dhcp that gives a lease time for the ip address that the router is giving your laptop. may be set to 24 hours or something, you may be able to change that to 30 days or something. Not sure why it's not renewing your lease however. Do you switch the units off or leave everything on all the time?

Re: internet access problem
I live the router on all the time, I am not sure how to change the setting
I see if I can find the Manual

Re: internet access problem
the standard username and password for a 3bb router is:
username: admin
password: 3bb
just open an web page and type in 192.168.1.1 in the address bar at the top of the page

Re: internet access problem
I changed the dchp setting to 24 hours but that did not solve the problem
Re: internet access problem
Try another computer on the same router, it could be a problem with the LAN card on the laptop.

Re: internet access problem
give yourself a static IP address
even though dhcp will give you a leased address if you use a high number you can connect to the router still
it depends on you operating system how you will do it but try to use the following:
192.168.1.250
255.255.255.0
leave the dns settings to automatic
