Guess there are a lot of successful wank**s around then.

One thing this "gone silly" thread has achieved is that I will try the place and give it a fair and honest review.

^^Me too, think we're popping down the market tonight anyway. Better to sit there and have a few Margherita's rather than the usual cocktails-on-wheels shacks :D

ok I really don't want to abuse this site and self promote but, i did try to contact the HHAD, I send them an email through the "contact us" link but they never got back to us. I'm not complaining, i'm sure they will get back to us when they can , but we are already opened and have dinner plates at out restaurant. Problem is we are dieing here,, I think people just don't know we are open.
I just wanted to announce that. If the moderator finds this post to be breaking the rules, I understand if you delete it. If not, then thank you.

Why not contact Admin and place a one page advert or something like that?

I believe the rates are reasonable

Then us punters will know what you are selling and come and visit and post comments legally

We have never received an email from you, please try sending us one direct: webmaster (at) huahinafterdark.com. We have just tested the contact form and it works fine - we reply to every enquiry we get. Also be aware that if you use Hotmail you may not get our reply as they block a lot of domain names and servers.

Our marketing department can also be contacted via http://www.huahinmedia.com where there are phone numbers and Skype options.

Albertodelgado,

I'm sorry to say this and it is just my opinion, but that is a terrible location, imo, one of the worst in town. Fiesta Fred had a Mexican restaurant up there already and it didn't make it. The problem is that the night market (again my own opinion and experience) is mainly a tourist destination and there are few of those here now even in the high season compared with past years.

When tourists do walk the night market, they are looking at the stalls, not the restaurants behind them which are mostly hidden. The street is completely dead during the daytime when the night market stalls are not there so you have a double problem. Daytime; no customers... nighttime, customers are so concentrating on the market itself it's hard to see the restaurants behind.

Residents, if any are like me, go to the night market once when they first come here, and then again each time they have a visitor from out of Hua Hin and are showing them around. Other than that, there is no reason to go there night after night... there is no parking... it is a hot walk around, and just not worth the hassle as the same old crap is on sale night after night. Once you've got all the carved flower candles and switchblade knives you want there is no reason to go back as there are other, better places to shop for local stuff.

If you are fully operational now and open for lunch, I will come and give it a try, but I won't go there at night as there is no place to park and it is a real hassle.
My brain is like an Internet browser; 12 tabs are open and 5 of them are not responding, there's a GIF playing in an endless loop,... and where is that annoying music coming from?

I will be in town from 3rd January and will give this restaurant a go I have not eaten Mexican food for 12 years since I was in Porto Valarta but what I can remember excellent.
The more spicy the better and a few Sol cervaza to wash it down with, happy days I will post a report.
Kendo.

@ Lev,
I just did, I'll check back in a day or two if I don't get a reply, I have already seen a good amount of people coming by due to this forum, I feel its only fair to support HHAD, since we have gotten business from here. Thank you so much.

@ HHFarang,
I have heard these concerns,, and all i can say,, with all due respect, i hope your dead wrong, I have invested a lot of time an money in this. I know that ex-pats living here don't really like coming to the night market, but I know that they are in "NEED" of Mexican Food. All I can do is hope that you like the food and that it will make you come over. And as for lunch,, as soon as i find staff to work the day time hours, i will open for lunch.

Alberto---------- Keep plugging
HHF--------------True but 'word of mouth' and a good ad works wonders, Fred did not advertise and broadcast his whereabouts, Great food but no market exposure
