prcscct wrote:Well Pharvey, you have the weekend to recover from your depression. :P Seeing that it happens so infrequently, has there been any talk in Rugby circles about playing an extra period or set amount of time in case of a draw at the end of regular time? Pete
Dear God, I've not recovered yet (and NEVER will..... BL**DY FIJIANS!!!! :D ). As for the draw.. They've tried some weird and wonderful things in rugby competitions, but generally a disaster and quite frankly insulting to the players (Martyn Williams being made to take a kick (and missing) in European competition). Anyways, Fiji played well, Wales did not - although zero disrespect to Fiji..... I'm Welsh and VERY biased!! :neener:

Yes, good job RZR :thumb: Perhaps they should have matched those Barbarians against New Zealand, they may have beaten them. Pete

they actually played each other near enough this time last year at twickenham, . . .25-18 to the baabaas :D

next up for the baabaas is england in may followed by an easy run out v wales in june  . . . . :duck:.

all this of course after england's 6 nations grand slam

Randy mentions on page #1 that it's not mandatory to be British to play on the BB's. Are there any non-British players currently? Pete

EDIT: ...and are they paid to play or do it as an honour?

they were mostly kiwis with a few aussies & even a south african or two  :D
and are they paid to play or do it as an honour?
they are an invitational side & i'm sure they're well looked after  :D
