I think it is a Christian thing. Spoiled by people wanting to make money from it.The joy is in the giving :)

Poosmate you are so right, we offer a service for people at Christmas that are far from home and do not have the facilities to cook for themselves.

Sorry is it just me, I don't understand your post.

You went to a bar a year ago, they were not busy and you were charged for your beer, what has that got to do with Christmas Dinner? is it a general complaint or are you complaining that you were charged for your beer because the bar was quiet?

Sorry if I am a bit thick.

Well said Governor

Anyway, 5 of us will be turning up on Christmas Day for dinner at the Buffalo Tavern - to give us a break in the preparations for the Mercy House kids' party the day after, to which Bill & Lorraine are making a generous contribution!!

By the way, my friends who stayed in your apartment a few weeks ago were delighted with the accommodation and the service - they said they'll be back :)

Richard - I couldn't face the thought of eating Christmas dinner in time to still be able to catch worms ...

... so if it's alright with you Bill we'll go for the evening session.

What would be the best time to get there and will there be any entertainment?

And what delights do Buffalo Bill’s have this festive season? The food section seams very droll this year no Christmas menu’s, come on Bill what are you serving? We’re sorry we won’t be there for Christmas this year but will catch you about the 15th of Jan.

Merry Christmas Bill, Lorraine, H n G.

The establishment in question has ended its relationship with HHAD by mutual agreement, and has no further desire to advertise its services here.
