In the Oryx Lounge, Doha right now with a Heineken and a Johnnie Walkers Red Label, using the free Wifi, I'm going to sample the food after another few drinks.

Well worth £20 if you've got a bit of a stopover. :wink: 8)

Alcohol isn't in the fridge like Dubai but it's on the menu and you just ask. :cheers:

Just been informed by my waiter, after bringing me 2 more Heinekens, that alcohol finishes at 2am.

It was, looks like I'm stuck with a fellow lone traveller now though, he's flying the same time as me but to South Africa.

You ever seen District 9 or Blood Diamond?

Nah, I think he's all loved up again :wink:

Last time he was going to keep in touch with his super phone, but failed. This time he's got his laptop, but I guess his missus and kid take preference over us. :shock:

Arrived in HH. Just writing on my super phone but going into town shortly to buy a dongle.
I got a free upgrade for some reason and stopped in Cha am to buy 48 bottles of beer lao so it couldn't have gone much better

Have a good time BaaBa The wife is flying with Emirates, but only 1hr 40 mins stop over. But then she doesn't drink, so no need for Lounge pass. :roll:
