Hello Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all

You can take a minibus from hua hin to Victory monument for whatever it costs and at the victory monument, you will walk for 5 minutes counter-clockwise when you face the monument, there is another minubus to the airport for 50-75 baht. So no need to walk up down stair at the skytrain.

Ahhh, sounds even better. Can you also pick up the minibus at the airport to travel to Victory Monument?

You could avoid buses altogether - train to HuaLamphong, subway to Asoke, short walk to Makkasan, BST to Swampy.
A sprout is for life - not just for Christmas.

Yes, you can pick up the minibus at the airport too. You need to take airport bus from your terminal to bus terminal in airport(5-10 minutes) and then there are several buses or minibuses head to different direction(Victory monument, pattaya, etc etc but not sure if there is one for hua hin yet). The price will be about 50-75 baht one way to victory monument. The nice thing about this minibus here is you don't need to walk up down stair as much you are taking a BTs or train,.
