Mine up country is a pile of bricks or an oil drum sawn in half. Big enough to barby a great dane on

It’s none of my business what people say and think of me. I am what I am and do what I do. I expect nothing and accept everything. It makes life so much easier.
I had a big gas one in the states that cost me between 200 and 300 dollars. It had 3 burners inside, plus a side burner for sauces/etc., and it had an addable electric rotisserie. It was big enough to cook a turkey. One's like that that I've seen here run around 40k baht (1200 USD).
My brain is like an Internet browser; 12 tabs are open and 5 of them are not responding, there's a GIF playing in an endless loop,... and where is that annoying music coming from?

Maybe not so bad. The one we have I didn't go into details but there are 4 grill burners, a high btu searer, a side burner for pot or pan, a oven and the rotisserie. We got it for 900 at our Costco (similar to a Makro). I plan on incorporating it as a stationary piece in the outdoor kitchen we are slowly building.
It's a great grill but I still like my cheap charcoal/smoker

The restaurants that cater here usually have a huge unit with an electric rotisserie that they use to cook up to a medium size pig. Not stainless but aluminum or galvanized I believe. I forget though if gas fired, charcoal or a combination of both. From the looks of them they're local made. Nothing better smelling and tasting then a roasted moo. Pete

I got mine on sale at Lowes home store in Florida (that would be about 10 years ago now) so I'm sure they've gone up and it was cast iron, not stainless, but it was a great grill and I wish I had added it to the 40 foot container I brought over. I just thought with all the stainless shops here that a better one made here would be cheaper, but all the stainless ones seem to be imported. If someone has a stainless steel shop in their family, making good stainless grills might be a profitable business.

When we are in the area we usually stay in Cha Am, and the main road to the beach always has 4-6 pigs going on weekends!!

Sometimes you may need to compensate for the weather and grill your meal indoors. This is especially true during the winter months and you do not have to resort to barbecuing in a blizzard to enjoy the tastes you have grown to love. There are some excellent products available for grilling indoors and the results are as good as you would expect for a home grilled meal.

This is true, we bought a table top electric barbecue, enough to cook for 2 or 3 people. Works well. The flavour doesn`t come from the charcoal or lava lumps but from the smoke made when the fat or marinade drips onto the hot elements. Of course this isn`t the dramatic effect we blokes insist on when only the male of the species take over the cooking.

I have one also, and like it, but remember grilling outside when I lived in Maine and the temp was -20f. Good thing alcohol was available!!
