All this talk about parking and traffic is not unique to Hua Hin, it's the same for Bangkok, Pattaya, any city. I would just park somewhere convenient and out of the way, perhaps Naeb Kaeha, and take an MC taxi or Tuk Tuk. Adds 100 Baht or so to your dinner bill but well worth it to avoid the aggravation. HH is the worst of the lot price wise though. The Tuk Tuks are Assholes.

I use the same Taxi everytime, Airport or Tesco.

Forget the parking, I'm looking forward to sampling the Tequila (out of site of the Long Haired General), the Margarita's, Tortilla's, the odd Burrito and some salsa........

Any news on whether they are going to be opening for lunch....... or an early beer.

Was at Margaritas again the other night for a frozen Margarita, Nachos and Ceviche. Sublime, sublime!

Before going to Margaritas for lunch you might want to check if they are open. Their telephones are: 032-51 66 75 and 087 092 16 14

Ok sorry I haven't updated, but I have been very busy. So far the restaurant is doing well, people are walking out happy and so far no complaints. I am very thankful for the few that have posted a positive review here.
I am still looking for staff to work a lunch shift and soon we so find people I will let you know. We will have our very own thread here in HHAD where We will be posting updates about that. As for now, we are pretty much open from 5-12. I'm getting a pretty good dinner crowd, but I would like to get some people here drinking after dinner, I have to come up with some good specials for that.
Anyways, thanks to everyone here, you all have helped to spread the word and I also want thank to the people in HHAD, this thread has helps us get this restaurant of the ground.

Just an update .
I went there the other night with my Thai wife. Found the food to have be excellent spicy alternative for her. We had 1 chicken and 1 beef burrito. Beef was very succulent and brilliant portions. Added extra chillies and the wife loved it. Great margarita , and excellent service at a fair price. Looking forward to them expanding the menu.
Hope you do well lads. We'll be back with some friends next time.
Cheers.

I have tried the restaurant twice and it was great both times. The chicken burrito is not only substantial, but following a bowl of chips and salsa, it is more than I can eat. Good, real flavors and they will spice up the food a bit if you want. GF and her daughter like the chips and salsa. Margarita was quite good. The waiter was well trained enough to go ask Alberto when he didn't understand what I wanted, rather than just bring... something... so he didn't lose face. Alberto and Ed have created a very good, friendly, relaxed atmosphere and are really trying to make sure their customers are happy. They welcome critiques, so if you don't like something, say so! My first burrito was good, but not spicy enough for me. The second burrito came with some nice, spicy sauce.

HHFarang: The temperature is a sweltering 24°C (about 75°F) so maybe tonight would be a good night to walk that hundred yards. :)

Yes, we came back from a trip to Bangkok last evening and I was shocked at how cool it was in Hua Hin! We slept without a/c last night which is a rarity in my house! Hope it stays like this a while.
My brain is like an Internet browser; 12 tabs are open and 5 of them are not responding, there's a GIF playing in an endless loop,... and where is that annoying music coming from?

Maggies is the best, almost as good as my haunts in San Diego and Baja!

All the rest in town are just posers! And bangkok for that matter, but Coyote in bkk has the killer nachos!!! And their 2/1 big margaritas can't be beat!!!

Keep up the good work boys but really crave carnitas!!!!!!!!!!
So Cal guy into a lot!

Ok so my bad for not keeping up with HHAD. I hope I didn't disappoint anybody, but we were closed yesterday. Today we are open and wanting a nice crowd, so I want to do 2 things,
1. Announce some specials I have been serving.
A. Fish Veracruz Style. - This is a nice piece of white fish, grilled up with vegetables, green and black olives, cilantro, and capers. I serve this with a side of our refried beans, and a side salad topped with our home made cilantro lime dressing.
B. Shrimp Ranchero (Ranch style Shrimp) - This are a nice portion of shrimp grilled with tomato , onions, chili's, cilantro and our home made Salsa. Also served with refried beans and a salad.

I want to see how much response I get from this post so , only for today (Tues, Jan 18) If you come in and say you heard about the special from HHAD, I will let you choose from these specials and add a Frozen Margarita for 250 Baht. I think thats a good deal. Hope to see some of you in tonight.

Three of us went to Magaritas a few days ago and tried some of their specials and a range of magaritas, of course.

We were absolutely delighted with the food, drinks and personal service.

We'll definitely be back :thumb:

Wow, thanks so much for that pic and the good review, unfortunately the extended area is on a daily basis. the "cheeky" vendor wanted a day off. She might be back tomorrow but we did agree that when she doesn't want to come we can set up there. Hopefully she turns out to be lazy and gives us more days.

We did have some people come if for the specials, they really liked it, I think I will extend the special for another day or two to see how it goes. So if you didn't make it today, you can come tomorrow.

I also want to get a late drinking crowd, so i'm trying to think of some drink specials between 10-12 PM . The night market seems to die out by then. If anybody can suggest something that would make you come out here for a drink around that time, I'm all ears.
