Thai people hate us when we don't pay for their services

I live in China and have a Chinese wife. I can assure you that I pay laowai (foreigner) prices if it's known there is a foreigner in the household.

When I go to buy anything in Tunisia I stress that I am a resident and not a tourist, so if their first price is WAY over the top I will walk away. I expect them to start high just as I am expected to start low, we meet in the middle and everyone is happy.

My record was 100 pages in a day in another forum and i wasn't there, i was banned and people were talking about me... it was funny to see how people like to loss their time with stupid things. The topic was closed by admins because people never stopped to feed the troll.

I know what i'm posting and i also know how people will react, the best example is "ImThai" who only read the bad things and post again and again.

People think sometimes i'm like this outside the internet too, on the forums everything is missinterpreted, forums are just a game, in fact in real life i don't talk too much, i prefer to listen.

Someone can explain to "ImThai" the way this works ? I think he's raising an army to attack me

Do people get upset about posts on forums ? Really ? I doubt... And i don't talk bad about anyone on here, no names, no personnal attacks, nothing. I'm just saying some people should think twice before make an absurd price quote and cry because i found another service cheaper for the same (and the other service is from thai people also). So you really think i'm shitting on thai ? I'm not, i'm shitting on people who try to shit on me first. All the good services i had found came from thai people too.

Do i need to clarify everything ? Can't you think by yourself ? I have no problems with thai people, i have 20 thai friends for each farang friend. They also think like me, i ask them what they think about this service or this price first, they all said people are trying to rob me. They would never pay prices like that.

You can ask to ImThai if she would pay double pricing for her swimming pool if all her friends had to pay only half of the price. If yes then she's really not smart or have a rich men who will pay everything for her, and again, as a wife of a farang she should help him to get the best price possible on everything.

What baffles me is you say that your wife is Thai. So why on earth did you not send her to negotiate all your deals? I read from another forum member, a different subject, that he ( farang) walks behind his wife in the market place and keeps out of sight when buying things. Maybe as your wife speaks Thai she could have been maybe a little more tactful than you were.

@Siani : My wife believes the more she pay the best she looks. I found an iPhone 4 for 23 808 bahts from the Apple shop but she wanted to pay MORE THAN 30 000 bahts because 23 808 is too cheap. So she asked for lots of option to reach the 30 000 bahts bill. I would never ask her to negociate ANYTHING, i'm the one who talk about money when dealing. She just can buy cloths alone without me or stuff like that, but for the home, the car, the boat or whatever i will negociate.

@Poosmate : Thanks, i try to write well but i can't speak like i'm writing, in fact i met some members of the forum and they have lots of difficulties to understand me. The least i can do is to do my best at writing and i know i still make lots of mistakes. I also don't understand every word you guys are typing and i need to use Google to search them.
