The frustrating thing is that all his followers will believe all this BS and bow down to the godly man that he is, resulting in a further hatred and contempt for anything not North Korean.

I don't think it will be too long before his World and that of his moron son, comes crashing down around their ears.

You can only fool all the people most of the time.

:guns: :guns: :guns: I would love to see the whole family hanging head down from lamp posts, along with the generals of his army.

* The first time he picked up a golf club, in 1994, Kim reportedly shot a 38-under par round on North Korea's only golf course, including 11 holes-in-one. He then decided to retire from the sport for ever.

* The fledgling leader was a genius as an infant, with official North Korean biographies stating that he had learned to walk at just 3 weeks and was talking at 8 weeks.

* Kim wrote six full operas in two years, "all of which are better than any in the history of music," according to his official biography.

Exactly that emotion first comes to you when reading it. It really is just hilarious, but then you realise that the already delusioned mass of North Korea are taking all this in with awe and astonishment. Gratified that they are in the hands of someone so divine they will bend over for him at a snap of the fingers. Already massively insane what the hell's gonna happen when senilty (is that the right word) kicks in and he orders the bombing of every country that said a bad word against him. His followers will not dare question his orders as he is a being of a superior nature to what the world has ever seen.

All this Kim Jong "what a guy" stuff just whips up images of Monty Python sketches to me.

Really is sad that an entire country can be so irretrievably and hopelessly brainwashed.

As KD1975 mentioned, it is inevitable that their pathetic world will implode, hopefully sooner rather than later.

Edit - Well, guess that last bit about collapse is at the Chinese government's discretion as they are the only reason it hasn't happened already. :|

Christopher Hitchens has some great insights on N Korea and its religion like Kim cult of personality.

Yep, laughable but ultimately sad.

To be perfectly honest, I think China is getting a little tired of Kim Jong themselves. Also one thing that I have heard a few times over say the past 12 months is that the army is starting to suffer with the food shortages - historically these were the guys that were fed to keep (relatively) happy whilst others tended to suffer. A discontent army will certainly speed up a government downfall in North Korea.

As you say though, a seemingly brainwashed population with little or no access to the world outside North Korea is in the palm of Kim Jong's hand.

To be honest I think pharvey is on the right track.
I also believe that he is able to read between the lines as long as he's in he centre of the powers in question.

The Europeans may think what they want, but I really believe that China is more than fed up with this idiot and are looking forward to see another man in the saddle. Hey; we're talking about N.Korea.
