George

Post by barrys »

For those of you who had the pleasure to meet George, I'm very sad to have to tell you that he died tragically a few days ago.

Today, St. Patrick's Day, was designated to be his 1st birthday, alas he didn't quite make it.

To say we are choked and devastated over the passing of this delightful wee fella is an understatement.

He really was a fantastic fun-loving wee guy who put a smile on an awful lot of faces during his short life, as a lot of you know

He'll be sadly missed

Rest in Peace George

Thanks BaaBaa., that's the beastie. Mrs BB has been screaming 'senee' in my ear for a couple of hours now. I guess that's Thai for Loris.

Yes, George was a Slow Loris.
They are amazing creatures, with very individual personalities - he really was such a very important part of our family, so ...

Foo or Family & Lifestyle?

By the way, they're normally referred to as nang ai in Thai ...

When I first came to Thailand over 20 years ago, a relative of my Thai wife had one. It was the most vicious, mongrel animal I have run across in a long time. The owner was the only one that it would allow near it, bite everybody else it could reach. It may have been a Katoey  because the owner was definitely of that persuasion.

Very sorry to hear that Barry!

George fascinated me and my wife when we came down for that visit.
