Concrete walls - costs of building (and options)

I plan to have a plain concrete wall built and I'm hoping to find out a reasonable approximate cost.

The height is the fairly standard height that you see around housing developments - I would say it's slightly taller than a person standing.

As for options, is there a way of putting in concrete posts and slotting-in concrete beams across, in order to minimise costs, for less-conspicuous places behind my house, where it does not need to look so fancy?

So basically, I'm looking for...

a) Typical cost of standard concrete wall
b) Typical cost of slot-in concrete wall
c) Any other options to minimise cost

2 Metre high standard block and render about 2000 Baht per metre.

I don't know about cost these days but the usual way is to use screen blocks - at least for the top 2 or 3 rows of a wall. Presumably solid screen blocks for the lower layers. That is the most common type of walling so probably also the cheapest. You will of course need the uprights but screen blocks are layed like bricks so is there a need at all for concrete cross beams?
IMHO it could be a mistake to put different walling in less conspicuous places just to save what could be a very few baht. Unless you need to totally screen an area from neighbouring properties. Think about the way its going to look overall - people do notice these things, especially when it comes to selling.

Thanks to you both for those replies a few days ago. I've been given a day rate by a builder for this work and he suggests I should budget 2,300 per metre including labour and materials.

He doesn't give a fixed price per metre but just charges for time and materials.

Does this price seem a bit high? My wall is to be very long, so slightly high costs, whilst not being a problem for a few metres, certainly would be for 100 metres. Thanks.
