Buying Clothes in Hua Hin

Post by thehamok »

Is there street stalls etc in Hua Hin for buying clothes.

I'm thinking mainly of trousers and shorts etc. and the odd shirt or T shirt.

There's plenty of street stalls here. You will not have a problem with that.

Thanks Bamboo.

I'm thinking more of buying there instead of brining from home.

What about laundries ??

Would probably want to have new clothes cleaned before wearing them.

If you are passing through Bangkok then buy them there. The market under the Bayoke Tower (the tallest building in Bangkok) is the best.

Laundries are plentiful as well, and cheap too. Your hotel can do it but that will probably be a little bit more expensive. Once you're down here, walk around a bit and you'll see that there are laundry shops all over the place and the prices are very cheap.

Whenever i visit LOS i only take carry on, enough clothes for one or two days + toiletries. Whilst there i buy as i need and just before i leave buy a big bag to pack it all into and my clothes shopping is done!! I dont even bother buying clothes at home anymore as its basically made there anyway and i have to pay 10 times the price for the same good quality in Straya. :D

Same here, only take hand luggage then buy all I need in LOS. Well that was before I got married & we've had a baby. Don't think think we'll manage with hand luggage this next trip, not if Mam's got anything to do with it anyway! :(

buying clothes in Hua hin is fairly eaZy. I personally like the market next to the San Paolo Hospital (open from wednesday to sunday from 5 to 10:30pm.) it's on Petchkasem Road you can't miss it. Otherwise I would suggest the New Platinum Mall next to the Grand Diamond Hotel and Condo that's where you find cheap and comfy clothes that you can slip into.

with best regards "the understudy"!

Thanks to you all for those replies.
It seems I won't have too much trouble getting clothes either in Hua Hin or as suggested in Bangkok.

Looking forward to my visit last week in June.
