Anyone any idea how much to pay for land in Boh Fai near immigration per rai for housing ?

Yes Pagey, 1 Talang Wah = 4m2
So 1 rai (1,600m2) = 400 Talang Wah, therefore 4m - 4.8m per rai.
Once you go say 3-4kms West of that it could be literally half that, 5-7kms past that 1m - 1.5m per rai, talking about land near proper road, with elec/water etc. These are very ball-park though, haven't really looked at prices for a good while.
If you were just looking for one plot big enough for a nice size property, you do see the odd one here and there for sale but quite rare, and tend to be a little more pricey when you pro-rata back up to a rai. Buksi's plot is a very good deal imho considering it's close proximity to town, and now that the price has reduced: viewtopic.php?f=6&t=15255
