Married couple in forties. Returning to Hua Hin as last time we felt we didnt have enough time to explore but really loved it.

You'll get more rain in April than you did in January but Hua Hin is known for having less rainfall than most other parts of Thailand so you should still have a good holiday.

As a suggestion, try to ask specific questions about bars, restaurants etc in the appropriate forums. You'll be sure to get a better and more informative response that way.
