(Karma is the ONLY thing I believe in) I am offering 10,000 baht to the best cause possible.Barry's kids are my first thing to contribute to, but for that I actually want to go in and meet Barry and the kids when I return to Hua Hin which will be in a couple of months and hopefully I can make it a more frequent offereing.
For this post all I require is a bank number. On the 6th of May 2011 I would like to deposit the sum of 10,000 baht to a needy cause. I want something that is local, community help rather than giving it to Aids or Cancer research etc.
It could be a single person you know that is suffering through hard times or it could be a group which are in need of help.
Ain't a great deal of money I know but I thought I'd ask you guys if you have any ideas for how this little bit of money could really help/change someones life. For this reason I'd rather it be an individual that recieved this as it could really make a difference to someone.
We have one month for suggestions on who should get this and, I promise you this, I will send the money at 12:00 on the above date.
Who deserves to get this little bit of help the most guys?
A few years ago when I was out more I could have thought of loads of guys - homeless guy I always saw (I help a few now already), old lass working her socks off for a few baht collecting beer tins, flower girls.... (just kidding)... etc. But now I don't get out. A bit of a 'Jim'll Fix It' kind of scenario' except the lucky winner doesn't get to see Cliff Richard doing a hula dance, but she get's a little bit of cash that she rarely ever see's.
'Winner', if you can really call the less fortunate that, will be announced on the last day of this month.
All I ask is in return is that ,whoever does recieve this money, is pictured accepting it.
