Advice/tips/offers needed for renting in Hua Hin

Hey,

We've now landed in Hua Hin, and have temporary housing sorted (Until early May)

We're starting to look around for a longer term solution (1 year or longer) and would like advice:

1) Best places to live in and around HH (We have a 3 year old, so not too remote preferred)
2) Any areas to avoid?
3) Any offers on suitable places?

Here's what we're looking for: 3 Bedroom, furnished, either with a pool or in a pool community. We want to be in a community (Security, etc.) and not stand-alone. Covered parking, High speed internet access is a MUST (I know it's not universal here) Prefer area with other young kids (But not a must) Quieter area is important (I work from home, usually afternoons/evenings). We need to be within 15-20 minutes of a Tesco/Big C/Makro. Our budget is around 20k a month (But cheaper is always better )

Hi global. I'd have thought that what you're looking for at the budget you mention is almost certainly going to take you to the outskirts of town. That's fine if you've got decent transport, but as for fast Internet connection - it's variable, to say the least (anywhere round here really). Have a look round the digital forum on that subject. You might want to check this thread out viewtopic.php?f=9&t=17734 with regard to Internet use.

As well as checking out agencies, etc., the best way is to spend a few days just getting out there and having a good look round. There are quite a few communities with pool 4-10 kms in all directions from the town centre.

The two don't go well together, young kids are not quiet unless they are dead!

Thanks.....know the Kids and quieter seem contradictory....god knows our little terror isn't the quietest churchmouse in the world--I'm thinking quiet as in bars, nightlife, etc. obviously I know it's not legal to gag the little angels (Excepting for certain German tourists in Pattaya)
