Not quite.

Legacy

In November 2006, the Imperial War Museum asked Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson to lead a campaign to fund restoration of Spencer's paintings of Port Glasgow's shipyards in wartime and certain other works. Ferguson, whose father, brother and an uncle were working in the yards while the artist was there, took up the challenge.[9]

He's still actively involved. Stanley Spencer is one of our greatest artists and his work and style is unique, as was much of his life. Quite a character from a small Berkshire village - I'm a huge fan.

Ancelotti makes me laugh when he talks about Roman has given him assurances about his job. Its the reaction of the fans he should be worried about. Drogba on the bench. 'Nuff said?

OK, 3-1 after another Chelsea sending off. I can't tell you how angry I am. I don't buy into all the crap that Roman dictates who does and doesn't play.

You know you aren't good enough at this level when you take Anelka off and replace him with, er, Kalou.

Drogba predictably replaced the out of sorts Torres in the 2nd half and scored. To be blunt, Torres should now be told to go home until next season.

If Ancelotti stays and I'm not convinced he should, then Wilkins must return and we need to ditch some of the older generation and bring some of the youngsters back. Importantly, we need to find a player that can run at players and scare them. The basics are still there, it just needs some polishing.

And by God, I cannot put into words how much I despise Manure.

I couldnt believe Chelsea started with Torres instead of Drogba
And then taking off Anelka after 60 minutes and replacing him with Kalou.....was Anelka injured ?
But I thought Van der Sar was superb again last night and Vidic was excellent protecting Ferdinand who was injured as early as the 5th minute.....Ji Sung Park ran his heart out and was rewarded with the winning goal.
Bad miss by Lampard which would have evened the tie out after about 15 minutes but Chelsea are an ageing team with the replacements appearing not up to scratch.
Ancellotti seems to have lost it this season similar to Louis Van Gaal at Bayern Munich.
Chelsea started the season so well but the wheels started to come off after their disgraceful treatment of Butch Wilkins imo.

So who will you guys be supporting in the semi final ? The Germans of Schalke or United or shouldnt I ask ? :guns:

By the way, good luck to Spurs tonight. If you turn this one around youll certainly deserve to win the trophy ! 8)

Hi Zidane,

You are right of course. The 3 players you mentioned were excellent for United and at the end of the day, 2 wins, home and away, show's who the better team was.

I wonder if we'll ever learn about what happened with Wilkins, but it seems the defining moment of our season. All very odd - and costly.

But like the others, I cannot say I will be supporting United to win this. Its more to do with Fergies behaviour this season, pontificating on everything, whinging, moaning, calling officials cheats. The Rooney incident (the latest one) and the reaction of seemingly everyone at the club, Neville etc.

A good dose of humility might help.

A good job? The only time I want an English team to win is if the English team is playing the Mancs.

Aaaah, the response was much as expected.
I remember supporting Liverpool twice in the Champions League Final against AC Milan and also Arsenal against Barcelona....but seems such a long time ago now since these two English sides had any success ! :)
So it looks like it wil be just me,a few folk from Stretford and most of the population of Surrey and the Isle of Wight who will be supporting United then ! :D
Never mind,I'm sure your hearts will soften against United once Fergie retires and Jose Mourinho takes over as manager !!
We might even see Baa Baa shopping in the Trafford Cente then ! :thumb:

Anyway, bad luck to Spurs. You had a great run beating the likes of Inter and AC Milan.....make sure you get the 4th Champions League spot now....with Citeh losing to Liverpool its up for grabs and I'm pretty sure Spurs still have to play Citeh....at Eastlands ??

Yes and they've also got to go to Stamford Bridge and Anfield, plus a visit from Arsenal. :|
