I went into it..may sure that you have zero insurance. A lot of places say yes insured but it is only 3rd party. Most rentals will top you up I think if you ask for it. Also zero inurance means any little knock or scratch (supermarket trolley, bikes etc) are covered. They do not even want you to check around the car before it goes out in other words, no need to. I went to Budget by the Hua Hin market. It is also quite cheap there will full insurance.

All our vehicles are fully insured for car hire and include breakdown cover.
The maximum risk is a 5000 baht excess. This can be waived for a small fee. ( typically 150 baht per day)
Our vehicles are also delivered/ collected free in the local Hua Hin area.
We specialise in foreigner car rental and supply a contact number of a native English speaker in case of difficulty.
Off season rental May - September rates from 15000 Baht per month.
