New Nabpob Market restaruants

Post by hhfarang »

Just from driving past it, this new mall appears to have at least five new restaurants open now.

I've seen a small Indian restaurant on the side across from the Tessabahn, what appears to be three restaurants across the front facing Phetkasem road including an interesting looking seafood place called Deep Ocean or something like that and an ad or sign for a Thai/Asian place on the side facing the old Hua Hin shopping mall parking area.

Has anyone tried them and have a review or comment?

Can only vote for the Indian restaurant.

"Thank you in Indian" is simply great. Very plainly fitted out, but the food is wonderful. Real Indain food cooked by an Indian chef...ex "Take 5" Chef ......good value for money.

They even fitted an authentic Tandoor!!

I will certainly be a regular

Now, that exterior decor of Deep Ocean is attractive and inviting. Jeffer is a franchise and have about twenty locations in Thailand. Similar to Chesters I believe. Pete

Excuse my ignorance but I will be arriving in HH on Friday for the first time. Where on the map will I find this complex?

They should get somebody to look at their website then, it's shockingly slow.

It just loaded here in about 2 wee natee. Must be using a Thai server with little interest for international traffic. Makes sense if like Chesters, foreign dishes with a Thai twist. Chesters is just a small step up from fast food. Pete

They should add the Hua Hin branch to the list of locations too

FYI & FWIW, yesterday I was at Nadpob Market and:

1. Jeffer closed already. Just an empty shop now. Barely lasted three months?
2. At "Thank You in Indian," the Indian chef is currently back in India, so no Indian food available until 01 August. Only Thai food available until then.

Surprised that a chain like Jeffer couldn't wait out the low season.

Still no one tried Deep Ocean? I saw some photos of the interior in a tourist mag my wife brought home and it looks to be a very nice (well decorated) place with a separate bar area.
