HELP with finance for property

Post by leinsterjohno »

Hi All,
I am a 54 year old West Aussie guy who plans to retire to Hua Hin in September 2017, ( I was planning to retire their next year), problem is I cannot access my $500.000 Government Superannuation until August 2017 ( after being told I could next year). As such I am seeking help on information as to how I go about financing a house/villa in the area with loan being paid in full in September 2017?
I have a $10,000 AUD deposit now and am happy to pay monthly repayments until such time as I retire over there, I just want to secure a 3/4 bedroom house/villa with pool and nice kitchen now.

Also can anyone provide me with info on Marble housing development near Hua Hin in Prarubin? I have received emails from them about their 4 bedroom 200m2 villas with pool for 5.5 million Bhat financed until I get there. Can anyone PLEASE help me?

Thankyou!!

There are several communities here that do self financing and probably would be good for your purposes, depending where you want to live exactly... however, you can't receive PM's at this point so I will wait until you have ten posts and then give you some information.
My brain is like an Internet browser; 12 tabs are open and 5 of them are not responding, there's a GIF playing in an endless loop,... and where is that annoying music coming from?

You won't be able to do anything (or at least shouldn't even try) until/unless you are here in town...

Hi leinsterjohno
You might want to look at this:

[Mod Edit] Links to property websites are not permitted.

I have no commercial interest (or knowledge) about the company. All I know that it is some danish people who just started up financing in Thailand, and that they have made some advertorial post on several danish thai forums. But it may be worth a try...

That is correct, and maybe not even when you are there, unless you are ready to fork over money regardless of finding what you were looking for or not. I have been trying to build a "relationship" with several real estate agents for about six months before I got there. Most were not interested at all, and the three I eventually hooked up with were not prepared when I got there. It wasn't just a disappointment, it was frustrating too. :( :( :(

Sorry Big Boy, I never ment to violate terms and conditions. I only thought of it as a link to the finance company. I did not think about that they share website with the realestate company that is owned by the same persons.
