HHAD vs CAD

Post by richard »

Well we all know about Hua Hin after dark but but anyone experienced Cardiff after dark

I have and it's a riot

Sure the same happens all over the UK but I took my Thai missus one year to Cardiff and we experienced this. When I told them the police cordon off roads to save lives and stand back as the boozing and fights take place she politely said 'why don't the police shoot them when they fight?'

Note the mobile phone usage. Worse than Thailand

ENJOY

Definitely some lessons there for the ladies. Never wear polka dots if you are bigger than a size 10 (UK). Never pick up chips (fries) from the pavement (sidewalk) because some guy might have pissed on them. Always carry a pack of sticky plasters (band aids) on a night out, and always find a guy to carry you home!

The Welsh Tourist Board didn`t show these photos as part of the attraction of visiting their country.

Sounds like your Mrs should be the Chief constable Richard.
Must be all that Brains beer?
Managed to watch some shannanigans when I visited Wales from the comfort of my hotel room window some years back. Reckon it must be the constant darkness and drizzle leading to depression that kicks it off.
Pity as lovely people and a great place to visit. My preference compared to Eire!

I have more friends, young and old, in Wales than in England. When I go back there is always a 'we'll keep a welcome' for me

Even my Thai wife commented on their hospitality. 'Why are they happy in Cardiff but not in London?'

Another pic. Carvery brunch for my daughters 6 feet 8 inches Welsh/Irish boyfriend. Wife tried it, loved it but ate a morsel. He ate his, hers and went back for seconds

Thanks for your, erm, tips. We are 'gradually' phasing HHAD out as mentioned in another thread so obviously some links will remain for now until new sections have been designed.

Brilliant photography, reminds me of how glad I am to be living here!

The ladyboys in Cardiff are far rougher than Thailand.

Nice photos and cultural anthropology.

Near as I can understand it, the natives drink until they do one or all of the following:
- drop food on the ground
- eat food from the ground
- puke on the ground
- piss on the ground
- sit on the ground
- fall to the ground
- hump on the ground
- beat someone to the ground

Then do the same thing next Saturday. Seems like a well grounded bunch. Didn't Sir Elton do a song about this?
