Sunday brunch at the Dusit is very good. The buffet will put a few pounds on you. Sunday is the cheapest day of the week there.

This a a very old post, but maybe somebody can update it ?
Just read somewhere that the Hyatt also had Sunday Brunch for about 1000 baht pp and with use of their pool too.
This was an old message . So the price will be more now.
Is this still goes on ?
I know I can call the hotel, but want to ask here first to all your experts !

The Hyatt Brunch is SUPER!

Served at MacFarland House, and cost approx THB 1,100 adn per an extra 200-300 can include a bottle sparkling per couple!

Highly recommended!

Yes, the Hyatt one is highly recommended by one of my neighbors who goes there for that often. Other than that I'm guessing the most of the big hotels have one so you might want to call around and compare.

As far as restaurants go, as many seem to be English run establishments, it's far easier to find a "Sunday Roast" than it is a "Sunday brunch".

It's a little different at least from my understanding. I used to go to Sunday brunches a lot in the U.S. and they were usually breakfast/seafood oriented and usually started around 10 a.m.

I'm no expert but I think the traditional English Sunday roast is exactly what the name implies... the main course is a roast (beef or beef and pork) with lots of (also traditional) English side dishes; and I think it rarely starts before noon and some places not until mid afternoon.

Most of the other members can tell you more about a Sunday roast.

I loved the bruch in Qatar where no alcohol is been sold without a licor license.
We went there on Friday ( islamitic Sunday) to the 5* hotels for a brunch and free flow of bubbels.
I loved thoose Fridays. hihi

Some good places mentioned. I like the Hyatt for location but no carvery. Nobody I know would go for a full English Sunday roast before around 3pm which stems to the days when the pubs kicked you out at 2.30pm plus the fact you have had a full breakfast around 10am after mowing the lawn and other chores. An hour in the garden centre or Texas homecare to go through the motions and you get a couple of hours free for a few pints before dinner. For those looking for a good quality brunch on a budget try the Euro butcher in soi 102. 200 Bt for cold cuts , breads, roast pork, sausages, farmer style potatoes, other dishes, fresh fruit, unlimited coffee and juice. They sell produce as well at a third of the price of Villa. No champers but a great selection of import beers and spirits. I am off for roast lamb cooked at my house by a friend who is a first class chef. Enjoy the rest of the holiday.

I do not know a Sunday Brunch as such. There is a hotel right on the beach that does a lovely buffet breakfast, great setting, good food. Anantasila Hotel Khao Takiap just 10 mins from Hua Hin. I am not sure what time is finishes but last time I was there it was still going at 11 am. They also hold a BBQ lunch on a Saturday, which is also good.

I've heard a lot of good things about the Anantasila Hotel recently. It really does sound like a great setting. A long while off yet, but the Long Haired General and I will be in Hua Hin over Christmas with my parents, and we'll certainly be giving it a try if only for a couple of drinks overlooking the beach at sundown.
