Try the book - it was excellent. The whole thing was denounced by Cloughs family and many of the Leeds players. Johny Giles took successful legal action based on the way he was portrayed. I think some folk forget it was fiction.

Well said, Baa Baa, and not a sour grape to be seen! :thumb:

But much as I enjoyed the game, where has that Spurs team been for the last 10 weeks or so?

Can't believe Liverpool fell for the old 'last 2 months' trick tonight :D

Now watch us 'blow' it next week at WHL when Birmingham fight to stay up

All together now...

And like West Am they FADE AND DIE,
Fortunes always hiding, I've looked everywhere,
I'm forever blowing bubbles, pretty bubbles in the air....

Arsenal rightly booed off the pitch, never thought I`d say that. Apparently Arsene Wenger thinks he knows where it all went wrong and what he needs to do to correct it. He needs to subscribe to HHAD for a start and listen to the thousands of fans and sports reporters who knew before the season started.

Onwards and upwards then. 8)

If there's anyone left who requires a measure of Kenny Dalglish's popularity with supporters of Liverpool Football Club, consider this. Had the board unveiled their new permanent manager, and that man was José Mourinho, or perchance Pep Guardiola, the appointment would have been greeted with cries of bitter disappointment, if not a nuclear blast of outright hostility. Roy Hodgson keeps some exalted company.

Dalglish's appointment as permanent manager of Liverpool on a three-year contract was as near to a no-brainer as decisions come. It could only have been Dalglish.

Even for a man who won three titles during his first stint in charge of the club, plus another at Blackburn Rovers, his performance since taking over from the hapless Hodgson in early January has been a revelation.

In stark statistical terms, Liverpool's form since the Second Coming of Kenny makes fine reading for a team that found themselves in the relegation zone during the opening exchanges of the season. Over those 16 Premier League games they are second in the league form table, behind only Chelsea. They have the best goal difference in the division. No team have scored as many goals (they have 35 to Chelsea's 31 and champions-elect Manchester United's 30) while only Chelsea have conceded fewer (though Liverpool have eight clean sheets, the best record in the division, to Chelsea's six). During this period, Liverpool have scored in every single league game, a record no other club can boast.
Yawn Yawn Yawn!
Well they didn't score today and at home to boot. Bragging about how shit you were comes back to haunt you BaaBaa.

Three times in my long life have I seen Spurs win at Anfield and tonight was the best. As I previously said it's been a great season for the Spurs.

Spurs and Blackpool do the double over you how good is that? Onwards and upwards that didn't last long!

Anyway, Football don't pay the bills. Just Enjoy, you can be shit sometimes especially if the time ain't right.

Did you know in 2048 Spurs were historically the most successful football club in world and you and I were not here to witness it. Put that in your pipe and smoke it!!!!!!!!!

Strange old set of results all round today! :(

I thought Chelsea were shocking and didn't get the midfield/attack Ancelotti put out? A win would have virtually secured 2nd place and it was all wrong - what on earth was he thinking of!? Very strange.

Luckily, Arsenal came to our rescue! :thumb:

As for the scousers! :cuss: (that's for IKTS, I don't care otherwise)

So any two from five can go down next week! That will be interesting to watch, especially at Old Trafford where Fergie will be more interested in preparing for the european final, rather than worrying about Blackpool!

And to top it all, the new West Ham owners have shown their (lack of) class again by already announcing Grant has been sacked. Wonder if he'll be travelling back on the team bus? Those guys really suck!

A yid in charge of ze West Am-Taliban was always a recipe for disast... disas... dis... success :naughty:

A false-flag psyop executed flawlessly by Agent Grant.

Yeah, after a performance like that against Spurs I'm sure many Liverpool fans wanted to join you.
Funny how a team often plays well when the manager hasnt got a permanent contract and then when he's offered a long term deal they just seem to switch off.

As I said earlier in this thread... Spurs are currently a better football team than Liverpool. Facts hurt eh!

Now don't give me the last 10 fixture win/lose ratio.. I don't need it. All I am saying is if both teams play at their best, Spurs are the better team.
If it's within arms reach, there's nothing to worry about!!

Clearly vastly superior. That's how they've managed to win less games.

Think that losing 5 games less is a better statistic, Only Manchester United the Champions and winners of the trophy the most times better that!

Finishing higher in the league is the true yardstick, let's hope you do it, if not, that will be 2 seasons on the trot that Spurs have proved to be a better team than Liverpool.

I know BaaBaa it's hard to stomach. A little trick to believe, Go into a quite room, remove all thoughts from your mind then chant like a monk for 10 minutes 'Spurs are a very good team, Help us to be better them' You will feel much better and stronger for next season :D

TBH we were very close to administration and had Roy Fecking Hodgson managing us earlier in the season so at least I'm looking forward to next season.

And seeing Suarez every week. 8)
