Hello,
As a 24 year old Danish Globetrotter (female), I am looking for "Summer" job Opportunities in Thailand. Initially looking at a 3 month period of work. Have previous experience in Tourism, mainly hotel operations.
Any suggestions out there?
Looking for a job
Re: Looking for a job
I believe it will be difficult to obtain a work permit for a "summer job".
Re: Looking for a job
Hate to say but chances are minimal.
Re: Looking for a job
If you have a degree in International Hotel Management try the big ones, otherwise forget it. Note: even for voluntary (paid or unpaid) work you officially need a work permit. If you need a 'summer job' to finance your stay in Thailand better try outside the tourist areas. Beware of employers who try to convince you that for their employment you do not need a work permit. Sorry for not offering more practical help. That is the way it is.
We are all living in 'the good old days' of the future.

You can forget that one too. I have been a Director of Food & Beverage for 25 years (but left the hospitality business since,) nobody will hire you for a management position for three months.Roel wrote:If you have a degree in International Hotel Management try the big ones, otherwise forget it.
