Looking for a job

Post by ZiSor »

Hello,

As a 24 year old Danish Globetrotter (female), I am looking for "Summer" job Opportunities in Thailand. Initially looking at a 3 month period of work. Have previous experience in Tourism, mainly hotel operations.

Any suggestions out there?

I believe it will be difficult to obtain a work permit for a "summer job".

Hate to say but chances are minimal.

If you have a degree in International Hotel Management try the big ones, otherwise forget it. Note: even for voluntary (paid or unpaid) work you officially need a work permit. If you need a 'summer job' to finance your stay in Thailand better try outside the tourist areas. Beware of employers who try to convince you that for their employment you do not need a work permit. Sorry for not offering more practical help. That is the way it is.

You can forget that one too. I have been a Director of Food & Beverage for 25 years (but left the hospitality business since,) nobody will hire you for a management position for three months.
