Very intriguing with those boats. What is the purpose of that bloody great "A" frame construction on the bow? Obviously steam powered ships, and screw driven rather that paddle wheel. Also not very big for a "ferry". Look more like fire boats, or a specially built tugboat. There is also a big ocean going ship just visible in the background on the extreme left of the photo.lindosfan1 wrote:Pete not the staten island ferry, a clue it is financially famous.
