Post by buksida »

Jazz fans dont fret - there are a number of smaller jazz performances around town leading up to the two month late main event this year:

Cicada Market in Khao Takiab has announced the first of its Jazz in the Garden series of concerts, produced in association with TAT. The first show, on Saturday 18 June, will feature Mr. Koh Saxman, undoubtedly among Thailand’s most prominent ‘cool jazz’ artists. The sidemen for the show will include Mr. Steve Cannon of US on trumpet, along with Thailand’s own I.O.M. and ‘Hank the Groove‘.
Showtime is 7 (or 7:30)pm. Admission is free

PlernWan: Every Saturday and Sunday throughout the month of June. Enjoy the casual jazz. Middle atmosphere swag yesterday.

Baan Silapin: Two hours every Saturday afternoon with Jazz in the art gallery. With activity still a ton of great art.

Hua Hin Market Village: Music Pop-Jazz casual style throughout the month of June to July on Saturday from noon - 2 pm Sunday afternoon from noon to three.
