**closed** large colour scanner in good condition **closed**

Post by jamiep »

Hi,

I wonder if someone can help, I am looking for a business that has a large colour scanner in Hua Hin. I have bought and want to scan the A1 military maps of the area around Hua Hin for use in GPS equipment for going hiking. A1 is 8 times the size of A4.

Here in Chiang Mai I have found many new and interesting areas to hike in using the maps for this area. In the end here in CM I scanned the maps 4 times each with an A3 scanner as the only A0 scanners available where in very poor condition and didn't do good scans. I will be travelling to HH on Thursday and hopefully a package of new maps of that area will be waiting for me there, delivered from the Royal Thai Survey Department.

Thanks, that place looks like it is worth checking out. Most design and copy shops will have a scanner of some sort. Have found the quality of the scan can vary a lot though.

Thanks.

Oh, I see my post has been moved to the classified section!

I am not looking to buy a scanner but to find a business that can let me use theirs.

I wanted to say thanks for the recommendation of HCR. They did a great job.
