The person who sent me a PM on this topic has greatly over estimated;

As stated earlier I have already had spoken and email contact with the organisers of the league about the various issues, and the impetus is there to resolve the problem, so they should now be left to do just that. I would like to apologise to the organisers for any inference made that they were party to some conspiracy, as I know they are not and it was never my intention to imply that. I would also like to request that anyone else who posts on here now does so in a spirit of reconciliation rather than confrontation, and in a constructive not destructive way. And for all our sakes not to send unsolicited PMs to people who have nothing to do with the matter in hand! As such I don't think there is much else to say on the matter but go ahead if you feel the urge.

I would also like to apologise on behalf of HHAD to anyone that received the errant PMs. The member in question was instantly banned, it was unacceptable behaviour.

I stated my comments from the start but of course you had a different point of view. this is what is known as freedom of speech.

I sent you a pm to explain my comments and to be honest your reply was to say the least, lame.

I stand by my comments and i only posted comments that had already been edited by admin.

It would seem that you yourself attended the meeting that as you say was taken over by others with a different perspective than yourself.

To be honest and frank if you never had the strengh and courage to stand up and make your views to the others present then why on earth did you attend the meeting in the first place.

It seems very sad to me that your and others views had to suddenly appear on this site rather than confronting the people at the said meeting.

I stand by my previous posts on this matter and the odd thing is that what i posted seems to be the truth.

I think this thread has now reached a natural conclusion.

Sincere thanks to everybody both here in Hua Hin and from afar who have made sensible contributions. I am sorry but they are too numerous to mention individually. The organisers of the pool league will now continue with the task of getting the new season under way in July. Everybody has said what has been necessary and more.

Any more comments regarding the pool should be directed to huahinpoolleagues@yahoo.com where they will be acted upon appropriately.

Apologies to the driver but nobody here ordered a Tuk Tuk.

We have never used RINGERS in any game and nobody has been paid or paid off. I could list many incidents of unsportsmanlike behaviour, but that is for the pool league not a public forum.

Hiding behind fictitious names and airing wild accusations is unsportsmanlike at best and cowardly at worst.

HHAD is one of the better forums on Thailand and Thai living, I think the mods would agree that threads should not be used for personal attacks on individuals or bars.

Octopussy are an honest and good team, not sure why they have been brought into this.

We are talking about 2 bar owners and a sponsor.

You started this thread and I feel you have communicated your concerns and points admirably. I feel if you let this thread drag on it will only serve to cause more arguments and bad feeling which is not good for the pool league or the Hua Hin community. Could you therefore please consider locking the thread. I think we are all moving on in a more positive way.

The infamous Bar owner at the meeting stated that he was in for the Pool to socialise, why did his team not turn up for a match last night???

Only spend in his Bar???

As said above this has reached a conclusion and as already stated personal attacks will not be tolerated here.

Greedybar, you are banned (again) don't come back, you bring nothing to this forum but ill feeling.

This issue is nothing to do with HHAD but we've let it run here despite coming very close to our acceptable limit on several occasions. If members would like to show us a little respect we'll keep it open, if they decide to come on here, ignore our T and C, and spout abuse the entire thread will be deleted. What has really been the "Ugly Spectacle" is people's conduct on this thread, one which should have been "self-moderated" has ended up having both moderators and admin taking action on serveral occasions.
