Victoria?

Post by hhfarang »

Did the small Victoria bar/restaurant on Phetkasem road (a couple of hundred meters south of the Tessabahn) close for good? It's been shuttered up the last several times I've driven past.
My brain is like an Internet browser; 12 tabs are open and 5 of them are not responding, there's a GIF playing in an endless loop,... and where is that annoying music coming from?

My office is opposite.. Have not seen Barry around for a while but I spoke to his lady several weeks ago and she said that she was going home to Prachuab for a little while. Hopefully, she/they will return.

I was told recently that his lease wasn't being renewed and he was also trying to get rid of his chipper in soi 80. Apparently, he has plans to move down to Kao Takhiab

While he's there why not have a mosey at this: viewtopic.php?f=14&t=15017

 9 baht a day to reach over 2,000 Hua Hin expats and visitors per day - can't beat that!

[Mod edit: repetitive business plugs are not forbidden on this forum, if the owners want to drum up business using this website they'll have to take an advertorial or sponsorship package.]

SJ, we fail to see the point to your attempt at humour, it is obvious from the content that the poster is affiliated with the establishment, self promotion is against the T&C's - always has been, so is questioning admin or moderator actions. We also fail to see why these small business owners in Hua Hin refuse to stump up the 9 baht a day for a dedicated thread of their own but continue to freeload on here knowing that the moderators will take action.

It was just that the edit said 'repetitive plugs are not forbidden', so I repeatedly plugged. I mean't nothing re: the actual issue itself.

Basically off-topic and not at all humorous, so I'll apologize and sneak out the back door

I appreciated the humour, Super Joe. It was funny, under the circumstances. The mods have a duty to enforce the rules, but they don't have to be drags about it. Don't feel guilty.
